Overview
The following solution is designed to help eliminate the chance of human error when booking waste tipping at a supplier site which it is not certified to receive. By enabling this feature, the user will be redirected to the page to add waste certification to that site if it is expired or has not been uploaded. This document serves as a guide on how to add waste certificates against supplier sites.
Solution
- In your MOVE environment, expand the Admin navigation option by clicking it
- Click on Manage Supplier to navigate to the next page
- In the presented table, find a supplier or create a new one
- Once in the supplier management screen, click on the Site Details tab
- Edit the supplier site you’d like to add the certificate for or create a new one
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the Waste Certification table
- Click the Add New Waste Certificate button, represented by a + icon
- Select the waste type you want to add a certification for from the Search Waste Type drop-down
- Note: if no waste type appears, please add Waste Costs in the table above
- Enter a name for the entry in the Certificate Name field
- Optional: Add an expiry date if the certificate must be replaced after a certain amount of time
- Click on Choose File to select the waste certificate file
- Note: we recommend uploading the files in .pdf format
- Click Save
