Overview
While improving the look and feel of our weighbridge module, we’ve also streamlined the process of creating a new tipping. With our most recent update, we’ve made it easier to pre-populate fields from existing customers/drivers as well as adding useful features like charging for additional items. This document serves as a guide on how to create a tipping job.
Solution
- In your MOVE environment, expand the Weighbridge section of the navigation bar
- Click on Add Tipping to navigate to the next page
- On the right hand side of the screen, click on Create New Job to begin the process
- Fill out all required fields, ensuring that all mandatory fields (marked by an asterisk (*)) are populated. See Glossary below for field descriptions
- Optional: Add a surcharge to your job by clicking on the grey, circle button marked with an S
- Optional: Add charges for single items to your job by clicking on the shopping cart icon
- Optional: Check COD to mark this as a cash-on-delivery job
- If you’d like to come back to this job at a later date, you can click on Save and Exit
- Otherwise, click Complete to finish the job
Optional: Search Panel
Using the Search panel on the left hand side, you can pre-populate the details for the Customer, Vehicle, Driver & Pricing fields
- Search Customer / Account Number
- By entering the name or account number of an existing customer, you will be able to pre-populate the contact details in the Customer panel by selecting the appropriate name from the drop-down list
- For new customers, entered details will be saved for future use
- Search Vehicle
- By entering the registration of an existing vehicle, you will be able to pre-populate the Vehicle panel by selecting the appropriate vehicle reg from the drop-down list
- For existing vehicles, fields such as the Waste Carrier Reg No will be auto-populated
- Search Job
- By entering the ID of an existing job, you can link it with the weighbridge ticket, pre-populating the job-specific details such as:
- Waste/Material Type
- Customer
- Tonnage
- Driver
- Origin Notes (Muck Away only)
- Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Town, Postcode
- Job Type
- Muck Away = incoming product
- Material Delivery = outgoing product
- Day Rate / Haulage = either
- Order Reference
- By entering the ID of an existing job, you can link it with the weighbridge ticket, pre-populating the job-specific details such as:
Glossary
- Pricing Type: will this be charged in loads or tonnes?
- Price per Unit: how much the price of each load/tonne is
- Unit(s): how many loads/tonnes will be moved?
- Total Price: equal to (price per unit * # of units)
- Cost(s): the total sum of the cost of all items
- Gross Tonnage: the weight of the vehicle with waste/material loaded
- Tare Tonnage: the weight of the vehicle without the waste/material loaded
- Net Tonnage: equal to (gross tonnage – tare tonnage)
- EA Site: choose which Environmental Agency Site is being used for this job

- You can also create a weighbridge job through the Quote Management Screen
